BACK TO SCHOOL

Well, after over a month off... school is back in session. As much as I complain about homework and cramming for tests, I love having a routine and a schedule that I can follow. It just makes me feel like I am getting things done, and doing what I should be! Today I am gonna share my top few tips on starting a new semester!
1) Figure out where your classes are before the morning of. Nothing is worse than walking into your first day of class late because you had no idea where the building is!
2) Get your books AFTER your first class. It will save you so much money. Professors will put on their syllabus that certain books are required, but you will not actually know until you go to the first class.
3) Make a schedule of all tests, due dates, and appointments. It will save you so much stress and trouble.
4) Take the time to meet your professor. Make sure they know your name... I promise it benefits you in the long run.
5) Get involved! If this is your first semester or if this semester you just want to be a part more, find your outlet. Find a college ministry, a club athletics team, or any type of club that interests you. You will be surprised how many clubs they have at your school.
6) Set goals for yourself. Do not go in with a low-ball expectation. Set high goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them. School is your main priority in college, so push to make your best grade!
7) Scheduling and time management is crucial. Allow yourself more time than you think you need for certain projects or assignments. You never know when your printer will break, your file will get lost, or your due date is sooner than you thought!
Good luck this semester & keep working hard! I promise it pays off.
