Motherhood knocked on my door when I least expecte

Motherhood knocked on my door when I least expected it. And I’m eternally grateful that it did. My life changed in an instant. God gave me the sweetest gift when He gave me Teddy. Being a mom has made me see God’s hand in every detail of life, made me an avid espresso drinker, taught me how to fight through pain on levels I didn’t know I was capable of, forced me to lean on God when I thought I could handle it alone, and challenged my marriage in beautiful ways. I’ve never loved a version of myself more. Being Mommy and taking care of my family and my home is the only thing that matters anymore.
To all the moms, the soon to be moms, the hopeful moms, the foster moms, the mom figures, the grieving moms, the single moms, the moms that feel like they’re in above their own head… happy Mother’s Day. You were made for such a time as this. 🩷

We had the most beautiful evening at Teddy’s baby dedication at church! We are so excited to raise Teddy to know the Gospel, and to know her Savior, and like her middle name, we pray she will be a light for her generation 💡 We will remember this night forever!
