Hey, friends! I am back today with a blog post all about MAKEUP. I thought it would be super helpful if I made a little graphic that features allllll of my everyday makeup products that are tried and true favorites of mine! I will break it down and give you all the info on each of the items, too. Let’s jump in, girl!
The first product that I always start with is a fresh coat of Loving Tan 2 Hour Express in the shade Dark. If you have followed me for more than a couple of days you know that I SWEAR by this product. It is my all-time favorite self-tanner, and I have tried a TON of them. I love how quickly the color develops, I love that it’s bottle is aesthetically pleasing, I love the smell of this product, and I love how it makes me feel so much more confident with a fresh tan. I would love to do an in-depth post regarding how I self-tan, so if that is something you’d like to see, definitely let me know!Next up, I apply a thin layer of the Tula Hydrating Day and Night Cream to my chin, nose, cheeks, and forehead. I love this moisturizer because it smells great, and I never have to worry about it breaking my skin out or making my face super oily. This product is a little pricey, but it is so worth the splurge. It has worked WONDERS for my dry skin. I promise you will love this product as much as I do!Once my moisturizer settles into my skin after a couple of minutes, I apply my Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer. I wear the shade Biscuit in this foundation. I love how it is full coverage, and gives a super natural finish and glow. I also really like the applicator that this foundation comes with making it super easy to apply and then I blend it out with my Beauty Blender. There are a lot of knock-off beauty blenders out there, but I would always recommend paying the extra few bucks for the real OG Beauty Blender. Why? Because I think that these real Beauty Blenders do not absorb NEAR as much makeup as the knock-off ones do, meaning you are wasting less foundation. And foundation is expensive as it is, so I am always willing to do what it takes to save a little cash on makeup. Next up is concealer. THE concealer. THE HOLY GRAIL concealer. Pls don’t hate me, but I forgot to add a photo of this product in the graphic. BUT, my concealer is the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. I am SO obsessed with this concealer because it is so creamy and luscious on your skin, has great coverage, eliminates redness, brightens those under-eyes and makes you look GLAM, girl. I apply concealer under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, a little bit on my forehead, below my contour line on my cheeks, and a little line down my chin. After I blend that concealer out, I will use my Hoola bronzer to contour my face and my nose. This is such a great bronzer that seems to be like everyone’s favorite. It is super pigmented, so use it sparingly! I also use my bronzer as an eyeshadow, just because I love basic eye looks for everyday activities.Once my eyeshadow / contour / bronzer is finished, I will use my Becca highlighter on the bridge of my nose and a swipe on my cheekbones to give my skin that super glowy look. I have always used the shade Moonstone, but I just ordered the shade Champagne Pop to test out. I will keep ya updated. Now onto the eyes and lips. My eyebrow pencil is only $2, and makes a HUGE difference on my eyebrows. I use the spoolie to brush through them (my eyebrows get some serious bedhead sometimes lol), and then I use the pencil to draw the shape of my brows on. I don’t give them a crazy shape, I just trace their natural shape and give them a bolder look. Next, I use (I know it’s weird) waterproof mascara in my eyebrows. I use the mascara brush to once again brush through my brows and give them their color. I have very dark hair, so using black mascara on my brows looks pretty natural. Once I make sure they look good and NOT clumpy, I will curl my eyelashes and add a couple of layers of that same mascara to coat my top and bottom eyelashes. My last step is to add a layer of Kylie Cosmetics Velvet Liquid Lipstick in the shade: Goals to my lips for the classic red pout. I am in LOVE with this formula. Love how pigmented it is, and love how it goes on glossy, dries matte, but doesn’t dry my lips out. Well, friends… that’s it. That is my entire makeup routine for my “everyday” look. Super simple, and tbh it only takes me about twenty minutes or less. I hope this post gave you some ideas for products to try out. You can shop any of them by click their links, and I hope you love these products like I do. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out on Instagram!
